TITANIUM

It is an element very widespread in nature as ruthelium.

Its mining has limited its industrial use, but today modern technologies allow its wide exploitation in different fields and further beyond the usual and well known medical and aeronautical appliances.

The use of titanium and of its alloys represent our future and they will reduce the extractive request of those traditional metallic elements such as iron, copper, aluminium, chrome, nickel and cobalt.

Titanium presents wide links with aluminium alloys and so it opens new possibilities of development in all those fields where a high resistance to heat and a limited specific gravity are required.

TITANIUM CHARACTERISTICS:

  • HIGH MECHANICAL RESISTANCE
  • LIGHTNESS
  • INOXIDABILITY
  • EXCELLENT RESISTANCE TO ACIDS AND ALKALIES
  • BIOCOMPATIBILITY
  • ATOXICITY
  • RESISTANCE TO TEMPERATURE
  • AMAGNETISM
